Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
Apple controls all subscription billing. To cancel:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find Noctura and tap Cancel Subscription.
Or open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions on any device signed in to your Apple ID.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.
How do I get a refund?
Refund requests go through Apple, not through us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund for the Noctura subscription.
How do I delete my account?
From inside the app: Me tab → Danger Zone → Delete Account → confirm twice. This permanently removes everything we hold about you — profile, dreams, interpretations, patterns, audio recordings, push tokens. We cannot recover it after deletion.
If you've lost access to your device or otherwise can't reach the in-app flow, see the public deletion instructions.
Heads up: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel separately using the steps above.
I started a free trial — when am I charged?
The 7-day free trial begins the moment you tap "Start free trial" and confirm with Apple. Your Apple ID is charged the yearly subscription price 7 days later, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. To cancel, follow the steps above — you can cancel right after starting the trial and still keep access for the full 7 days.
I lost my dreams — can you restore them?
If you deleted dreams individually or deleted your account, the data is permanently gone — we don't retain backups of deleted user data, by design. If your dreams disappeared without you deleting them (a sync error, for example), please email us with your account email and we'll investigate.
The interpretation feels wrong / generic / off.
The interpretations come from a large language model. They can miss nuance, default to clichés, or simply be wrong. They are reflective prompts, not authoritative readings — see the disclaimer in our Terms of Service §7. If a particular interpretation feels distressing, please don't act on it; talk to a human you trust.
Can I export my dreams?
Not yet through a one-tap button. If you'd like a JSON archive of everything in your account, email us from the address on file and we'll send one.
Which languages does the app support?
English, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hindi. The interface and AI interpretations both work in all eight. Right-to-left layouts are supported for Arabic, Persian, and Urdu.
Does the app work offline?
You can record (or type) a dream offline. Transcription, interpretation, and pattern analysis require an internet connection. Once a dream is interpreted, you can re-read it offline.
Will there be an Android version?
Not in the immediate roadmap. Noctura is iOS-only for the MVP launch.
